The tomb of Abdullah Khafif is one of the religious sites in Shiraz, built in memory of the great mystic of the 3rd and 4th centuries AH, Muhammad ibn Khafif Shirazi. This great mystic, who founded the Khafifiyeh order, devoted his life to worship and simultaneously pursued religious studies and promoted mysticism and Sufism.
Ideologically, Abdullah Khafif always tried to reconcile the Sufi path with Islamic law, so that alongside asceticism and piety, he never neglected religious principles. He died in 371 AH and his body was buried in his own khanqah.
