The Tomb of Cyrus is considered one of the important historical relics remaining from the Achaemenid period, visited by enthusiasts of ancient Iranian history. The structure of this tomb is made of limestone stones, and the tomb building has platforms on which the main structure of the tomb is based. The architectural style of this building is a combination of Iranian, Asia Minor, Egyptian, Elamite, and Mesopotamian architecture. No mortar was used in the construction, which makes the architecture of the tomb unique. Due to its unique architecture, the Tomb of Cyrus has been able to withstand natural elements such as snow and rain for years.
