The owner of this shrine, who is highly respected by the people, is Masoum, son of Abdullah and a descendant of Imam Muhammad Baqir (peace be upon him). In the year 203 AH, along with Imam Reza (peace be upon him) and 430 others, he was expelled from Baghdad by the order of Harun and entered Iran.
Hazrat Masoumeh, Imamzadeh Masoum, Hazrat Shah Cheragh, Agha Ali Abbas, and many companions were killed by the agents of the ruling government due to a conspiracy.
The historical age of this shrine building dates back to the Safavid era. Its structure is simple and unadorned, and its turquoise dome and beautiful tile work, in the style of the Safavid period, adorn this shrine.
