In the northeast part of the village of Suteh, on the riverbank, there is a shrine known as Imamzadeh Edris, about which there is no precise information regarding its owner. In the genealogical sources of the Sayyids, there is no trace of a person named Edris who was among the immigrants to the Mazandaran region.
It is possible that the person buried in the village of Suteh is one of the Sayyids who was killed in the year 822 AH in a great battle between the army of Sari under the command of Seyyed Morteza Marashi (died 837 AH), the ruler of Sari, and the army of Amol under the leadership of Seyyed Nasir al-Din Marashi (died 836 AH) and Seyyed Ali Amoli, in a place called Vaziyeh Mal, a district of Bandar Fereydunkenar, which took place. In this battle, ultimately Seyyed Nasir al-Din Marashi and Seyyed Ali Amoli were defeated and fled towards Gilan.
