This mausoleum belongs to Khadijeh bint Ali Zain al-Abidin, also known as Bibi Dokhtaran, who was the mother of Abdullah, one of the descendants of the fourth Shia Imam, Imam Zain al-Abidin (a.s.).
The construction of this building was ordered by one of the women of the Zand dynasty rulers, which itself indicates the religious and cultural significance of this place.
The mausoleum of Bibi Dokhtaran was registered on July 12, 1968, under number 422 in the list of national monuments of Iran. Visiting this place, besides benefiting from the spiritual atmosphere, is an opportunity to become familiar with the history of Shiraz and its religious culture.
