Bandar Siraf Bushehr

Bandar Siraf, also known these days as Bandar Taheri, is an ancient city in the central part of Kangan County, the largest historical port of Iran and one of the tourist attractions of Bushehr. Siraf shines in the list of Bushehr's sights and is also one of the oldest ports of Iran, which was the most prosperous port of the country during the Sassanid and Islamic periods and had extensive trade relations with Rome and Greece in Europe, Madagascar in Africa, and even Canton in China in Asia. This historical richness has made it one of the oldest tourist attractions of Bushehr.
