Kalehroud Village is located in the Karkas Mountains and lies in a beautiful valley. Among its attractions are the Kalehroud Cave, known as the longest clay cave in Iran, the historic houses of Boroumand and Mazaheri, the Haji Mosque, and the Sarbisheh Mosque. This village, due to its pleasant climate, has been recognized as a summer recreational and resting place for the Boroumand family since the Safavid era.
