Burnt Cave of Prophet Saleh Muteh Golpayegan

The Burnt Cave of Prophet Saleh in the village of Muteh, which is one of the most important protected areas in Iran, is located there. Muteh is full of special plants. This area, which is one of the most interesting tourist attractions of Golpayegan, is the habitat of deer. The fauna of Muteh consists of 25 species of mammals, 88 species of birds, and 25 species of reptiles and birds. This cave is located on the burnt mountain and is known by this name for that reason. The Burnt Cave of Prophet Saleh is one of the tourist attractions of Golpayegan next to the large funnel on the mountain, and in winters the inside of the cave fills with snow. When the snow melts, the inside of the cave fills with water like a well.

Visiting this cave is not possible for tourists.
