The S.P.R Castle belongs to the post-Islamic periods and is located in Neyriz County, Fars Province. During World War I, British forces built the S.P.R Castle in Espiar considering its strategic position on the route of Kerman, Yazd, Bandar Abbas, Shiraz, and Isfahan, using materials such as stone, soil, and sarooj mortar. This site, considered one of the tourist attractions of Neyriz, was registered as one of Iran's national monuments on March 15, 2001, with registration number 3287.
