Sahib al-Amr Mosque Tabriz

Sahib al-Amr Mosque in Tabriz is one of the religious sites of Tabriz during the Safavid dynasty, which was added to the national heritage list in 2001. This mosque was severely damaged in the 1774 earthquake and was rebuilt in 1887 by Mirza Ali Akbar Khan. The Akbariyeh school was established in one of its courtyards. Sahib al-Amr Mosque is known for its two minarets and one dome, and only parts of the marble arches from the era of Shah Tahmasp remain. The mosque was destroyed during the Ottoman attack but was rebuilt during the reign of Shah Sultan Hossein. Today, this place is used as a Quran museum and library in Tabriz, and its mirror work dates back to the Qajar period.
