Holy Quran Museum
If you want to get acquainted with the history of the Holy Quran and the various precious copies of this sacred book, you must visit the Holy Quran Museum, one of the tourist attractions in Tehran. This museum is built on three floors and about 650 handwritten Qurans are kept there. In addition to handwritten Qurans, other historical documents such as various old marriage certificates, land deeds, Quranic panels, and old Islamic books are also displayed in this museum. Another section of the museum worth seeing is the Master Amir Khani Gallery. Master Amir Khani is one of the prominent masters of calligraphy and Nastaliq script in our country. The Quran, Hafez, Saadi, and other poetry books of this distinguished master displayed in this museum are considered some of the most beautiful examples of calligraphy in the country.
