The Hamadan Celebrities Museum was opened in 2009 as one of the tourist attractions of Hamadan. This museum was established with the aim of familiarizing tourists with the celebrities of Hamadan, their biographies, and statues, and operates under the supervision of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism of Hamadan Province.
Avicenna, Dr. Mohammad Ali Zolfi Gol, Seyyed Jamal al-Din Asadabadi, Khwaja Rashid al-Din Hamadani, Dr. Irandokht Mirhadi, and others are among the eminent figures of Hamadan that you can get acquainted with in this museum. This museum is located inside the Bijan House, one of Hamadan's architectural attractions, designed and built by the great Qajar era painter and Karl Frisch, the famous German architect.
