Sabet Pasal Palace
Sabet Pasal Palace was built in 1961 and was registered as a national heritage site in 2017. This house is one of the tourist attractions of Tehran and was considered the most expensive and luxurious house in Tehran at its time. It is said that Sabet Pasal Palace belonged to Habibollah Sabet, who lived there with his family for only 2 years. They left Iran for the United States after the revolution, and the house was confiscated.
In 2017, the government planned to demolish the house and build a cultural and artistic center, but the Cultural Heritage Organization prevented the demolition and registered it as a national heritage site. Today, this house is not accessible to the public, and entering or tampering with it is legally prosecuted.
