Sa'dabad Palace, the display of 18 royal powers
In addition to the collection of palaces in Tehran that exist in this large complex, the palace grounds offer an extraordinary space for walking and solitude. This large garden with towering old trees and a river running through its center hosts 18 small and large palaces from the Pahlavi and Qajar eras. When visiting the Sa'dabad complex, you can see the Green Palace, also known as Reza Khan's Palace, the Mellat Palace (Mohammad Reza Shah's Palace), the Shams Palace where royal clothing including Farah Pahlavi's wedding dress is displayed; also the royal kitchen, the royal dishes museum in Ashraf Pahlavi Palace, and other museums exhibiting works of Iranian artists.
