Description

Darkeh Gorge, also called Tang-e-Dar, is one of the tourist attractions of Nowshahr, located near the village of Kushkesra and in the heart of lush forests full of old trees.

The first 400 meters of the river are not very deep and the water may reach your knees; but as the walls of the gorge get closer, the water depth increases. Of course, in this section the water depth reaches your chest, so there is no need to worry. Along the path of Tang-e-Dar, there are pools deep enough for diving and swimming. The rocks around the river are covered with Persian shield and moss, and ivy branches hang from the walls.
