Takhte Rostam Fire Temple
Are you a nature lover but also like to see historical sites while walking in nature? Then Takhte Rostam Fire Temple is one of the tourist attractions in Tehran that you can visit. You know that Iran was a Zoroastrian country in ancient times, so many fire temples from that era remain scattered throughout the country. The reason for naming this fire temple is Mount Takhte Rostam, which has become the eternal home of the Takhte Rostam Fire Temple. This historical site was probably the place where the sacred fire was kept. If you look closely, you can see two separate fire temple altars carved into the mountain. The first altar was the place where the fire was kindled, and the second altar was where religious ceremonies were held.
