The Kousan Fire Temple is one of the sights of Behshahr, which was called Tousan in ancient times. It was built during the Sassanid era and before Islam by the order of Kiyus, the eldest son of Qobad Sassanid. This fire temple is built in a square shape with stone and sarooj and was registered as one of Iran's national monuments in 1380.
To go to the Kousan Fire Temple, you must first go to Behshahr and then towards the village of Asiab Sar. You can find the Kousan Fire Temple in the northwest of this village.
