Description

The tomb of Sheikh Abdolsamad Natanz, the famous Sufi of the Ilkhanid era who died in the 13th century in Natanz. This tomb, one of the tourist attractions of Isfahan, was built by one of the disciples of this great Sufi.

The tomb is located in the middle of a village in Natanz, whose tall and beautiful minaret is clearly visible from the surroundings. The minaret is tastefully decorated with traditional tile designs, and next to it is an eight-sided conical dome in turquoise color, which together create a beautiful frame of the tomb of Sheikh Abdolsamad Natanz in our mind. Inside the tomb, the grave is placed in a wooden shrine. This wooden shrine with its delicate carvings is astonishing. Behind the shrine lies the tomb of the great Sufi, decorated with tile work.

Raise your head and watch the conical dome from inside. The muqarnas and delicate plasterwork of the ceiling are truly amazing. It feels as if by looking at it, you enter a strange geometric world.
