Tomb of Sheikh Mohammad Bahari

The tomb is located in the Martyrs' Cemetery of the city of Bahar. The wise mystic Sheikh Mohammad Bahari, born in 1265 AH in the city of Bahar, son of Haj Mirza Ahmad, was among the foremost scholars and mystics and one of the shining stars in the sky of knowledge, virtue, and mysticism. He studied under masters such as the late Mulla Abbas Ali, Mulla Jafar, and Ayatollah Haj Mirza Boroujerdi, and at the age of only 32, after obtaining the degree of Ijtihad, he traveled to Najaf Ashraf.

He studied in Najaf under Akhund Nala Hossein Qoli Shavandi and was constantly his companion, to the extent that the late master said about him: Sheikh Mohammad Bahari is the wise one among my companions.

He passed away in the city of Bahar in 1325 AH at the age of 60, after returning from pilgrimage to Imam Reza (AS).
