The shrine of Imamzadeh Qasem, grandson of Imam Sajjad (known locally as Astaneh), is one of the ancient historical monuments of Babol. This building is located in the center of Babol city and in the «Astaneh» neighborhood of Babol.
Mohammad Emadi Haeri, based on evidence and references and relying on reliable ancient sources, has shown that this tomb probably belongs to «Abu al-Qasim Hamzeh» who is traced through five intermediaries to Ali ibn Husayn, the fourth Shia Imam.
