Imamzadeh Zanjiri is one of the religious sites in Shiraz where the tomb of Jalal al-Din ibn Ali Zain al-Abidin is located. This Imamzadeh, built during the Qajar and Pahlavi periods, has gained special fame due to the deep connection of the people of Shiraz with it.
An interesting story surrounding this Imamzadeh dates back to the Qajar era. According to locals, Mirza Hasan Khan Nasir al-Mulk, one of the rulers of Fars at that time, had great faith in this Imamzadeh and ordered that those accused of crimes be chained. However, if the chain broke, their innocence was proven, and this became a symbol of purity and justice in society at that time.
Imamzadeh Zanjiri was registered on 23 Bahman 1380 (February 12, 2002) under number 4725 in the list of national heritage sites of Iran. This Imamzadeh, with its unique architecture, has always attracted pilgrims and visitors.
