Imamzadeh Harun is the tomb of Harun ibn Musa, son of Musa Kazim and brother of Ali ibn Musa, dating back to the Safavid era. This monument was registered as one of Iran's national heritage sites on 12 Bahman 1381 (February 1, 2003) with registration number 7056.
Identity: According to popular belief and what is inscribed on the shrine and plaques of the mausoleum, he is considered Harun ibn Imam Musa Kazim (AS). That is, he is regarded as a direct descendant of the seventh Shia Imam.
Historical ambiguity: However, in reliable and primary historical sources (such as classical biographical and genealogical books), there is no mention of a son named Harun for Imam Musa Kazim (AS). His well-known children are Imam Reza (AS), Ahmad, Muhammad, Hamza, and Fatimah. Therefore, the attribution of this noble person to Imam Kazim (AS) is seriously doubtful from a historical perspective.
Another possibility: Most likely, this noble person was a respected Sayyid and a descendant of the Imams who, over time, due to fame and respect, was attributed such a high lineage.
Features of the mausoleum:
Architecture: The current building has a golden dome and a relatively small sanctuary that has been renovated and decorated in recent years.
