Imamzadeh Yousef Reza
In the center of Qaemshahr city, next to Razi Hospital, there is an old and unknown tomb called Imamzadeh Yousef Reza, which few may know is the tomb of Imam Reza's (AS) brother. The history of this place dates back more than 500 years, and today only a small part of it remains, with most of the building destroyed. What is now more recognized than the Imamzadeh itself is the old and sturdy plane tree in the middle of the courtyard, which is nearly 400 years old. In the past, pilgrims on the way to Mashhad would stay for a few days at this Imamzadeh. Although the main building was destroyed during Reza Shah's era, later separate rooms were built for men and women so that pilgrims could worship and pray in this space.
