The National Garden of Mashhad is one of the most beautiful parks in our country, where spending time can be very enjoyable. If you are looking for hours of peace and to immerse yourself in your thoughts, this beautiful and green park, which is also considered one of the most famous tourist attractions of Mashhad, can be the best option for you. The National Garden of Mashhad was originally built as a place for recreation and rest by the rulers of Khorasan and the government. Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar gifted the garden to Haj Kazem Malek al-Tojjar in the year 1280 (Solar Hijri calendar). Interestingly, its deed exists in the Mashhad Property Office. After the death of Haj Kazem, the garden passed to his eldest son Haj Hossein Malek, who was considered one of the philanthropists and benefactors of Mashhad city and in 1340 decided to hand over the garden to the Mashhad Municipality to provide a space for public use.
This beautiful garden was registered on the list of National Monuments of Iran on 25 Aban 1384 (Solar Hijri calendar).
