The first time you see photos of the garden and Shapouri Mansion, you will immediately be captivated by the beauty and craftsmanship used in its construction and curious about where this beautiful building is located in Iran and what its story is?
Shapouri Mansion, with 840 square meters of built area in a garden of the same name covering 4635 square meters, is located in the Anvari neighborhood of Shiraz and Karim Khan Street. It was built by the architect Haj Abolghasem Mohandesi and has brought new and fresh features to Iranian architecture. This two-story house belonged to Abdolsahib Shapouri, a great Shirazi merchant, and was built between 1931 and 1936. What distinguishes Shapouri Mansion from other historical and beautiful buildings of Shiraz is the use of European architecture, symmetrical and colored columns, decorations and colored plasterwork, a two-way staircase, and other features. In recent years, Shapouri Mansion has been repaired and restored by the private sector and today continues its activity as a restaurant, coffee shop, handicraft exhibition, and art gallery.
National registration: This mansion was registered under number 2781 on October 8, 2000, in the list of national heritage of Iran.
