The Akasha shrine is a historic building with a history of over a thousand years located in Sangar County. This shrine, known as the tomb of one of the companions of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) or one of the sons of Imam Kazim (AS), holds great religious significance. The adobe architecture and beautiful verandas of this building have made it one of the valuable historical monuments of the region. The Akasha shrine, with its authentic architecture and historical antiquity, attracts many tourists and pilgrims every year.
According to a genealogy found inside the shrine, this place is introduced as the tomb of Sheikh Ali bin Agha Kasah, son of Qais. This person was one of the great companions of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), and his tomb holds great value among the people of Sangar. However, according to another genealogy, this great person is introduced as one of the sons of Imam Kazim (AS). The Akasha shrine building is a very old structure made of adobe, with verandas on all four sides featuring beautiful columns. The age of this building, based on an inscription inside the shrine, dates back to the year 920 AH.
