Description

The mausoleum of Khwaja Taj al-Din Kashan dates back to the 9th century AH and this building was registered on 11 Bahman 1334 (January 31, 1956) with number 400 in the list of national monuments of Iran. This historical tomb near Agha Bozorg Mosque of Kashan is a very valuable monument belonging to the Seljuk era. The mausoleum of Khwaja Taj al-Din Kashani is the burial place of two Imams named Shahzadeh Ishaq and Shahzadeh Abi Taleb. These two Imams are the sons of Shahzadeh Hamzeh ibn Musa ibn Jafar. This mausoleum consists of five parts: khanqah, pilgrimage site, mosque, school, and water reservoir, but unfortunately over time the mosque, school, and water reservoir have been lost and today only the khanqah and pilgrimage site remain.
