The construction date of this historic building dates back to the Qajar and Pahlavi eras. This beautiful house, built on two floors, an upper floor and a basement, is a structure decorated with the authentic style and art of Iranian architecture. The entrance and main facade of the building include two beautifully plastered porches, wooden framed windows, brickwork, and beautiful plasterwork together, showcasing the stunning architecture of the Qajar period in the most beautiful way.

The original owner of this unique historic house, which is considered one of the attractions and tourist sites of Tabriz, was the Seraflar family, and the last owner was the Alavi family. The Cultural Heritage Organization purchased this building from its owner and undertook its restoration and renovation. This house was opened as a pottery museum in 1995 and made available for public and tourist visits.
