Farakhin Lake is one of the attractions and sights of Nowshahr, located in the Kajur district and after the village of Visar. This emerald lake is surrounded by a dense forest of sturdy trees, so much so that it is difficult to see the sky through the branches of the trees. Farakhin, which is one of the sights of Nowshahr, closely resembles Hesel Marsh, and some people confuse it with Hesel Marsh. The wetland area is about half a hectare, and its water is supplied from the Farakhin spring and snow and rain in the cold season.
This wetland has a winding path, and it is better to come here with a local guide. There are no welfare and accommodation facilities near the wetland, so you must camp.
