Salt Lake of Kavir-e Mesr, Isfahan or the Great Salt Lake is the largest seasonal salt lake in Iran and one of the tourist attractions of Kavir-e Mesr. It is interesting to know that this vast lake is one of the largest sources of potassium extraction in the world. When you visit this lake, you will see pentagonal salt shapes formed due to the temperature difference between night and day.
