The Bandar Gaz Customs Building was constructed in 1902 with the design and supervision of Belgian engineers and is one of the oldest port facility buildings in the city and considered one of Bandar Gaz's tourist attractions. This brick building has vents on all four sides to create airflow and adapt to the environmental and climatic conditions of the region. Also, the presence of numerous windows, besides playing an effective role in air ventilation, provided a lot of natural light inside the building. The Customs Building, which is a relic of the golden era of trade in Bandar Gaz, was registered on August 2, 2005, under number 12562 in the list of National Monuments of Iran.
