Jegin Dam is one of the natural and strategic attractions of Bandar Jask, built on the Jegin River, the largest and most water-rich river in Hormozgan Province. This river originates from the Bashagard mountains and after a long course, finally flows into the Gulf of Oman. With a capacity of 210 million cubic meters, this dam is considered one of the most important water storage resources in the south of the country. Its unique location in a hot and dry area helps control runoff and meet the water needs of surrounding villages, also adding remarkable beauty to this region.
