Sarāy-e Moshir is one of the old bazaars of Shiraz, also known as Sarāy-e Golshan, and its construction dates back to the Qajar era. Its construction style, architecture, and large, eye-catching courtyard have made this bazaar always attract domestic and foreign tourists. This bazaar has a large vestibule that divides the bazaar into two different sections, and its northern part leads to Vakil Bazaar. Due to the proximity of this bazaar to Vakil Bazaar, most people consider these two traditional and beautiful shopping centers as one, while Sarāy-e Moshir was built years after the construction of Vakil Bazaar by Mirza Abolhassan Khan Moshir al-Molk during the Qajar period. The beautiful architecture, the large blue pool of the sarāy, the old sunshades of the shop entrances, and even the seven-colored tiles seen throughout the bazaar give it a special charm that can brighten your day. This place is one of the important centers for the production and supply of Shiraz handicrafts, including khatamkari and marquetry, engraving and chasing on copper and brass, engraving and cutting of precious stones, traditional handmade silver and gold jewelry, and gabbeh weaving. Sarāy-e Moshir was registered on the list of National Monuments of Iran in 1966.
