The ancient city of Gur was the first circular city in Iran, built in the past by the order of Ardashir Babakan. This city is located 50 kilometers east of Meymand and 6 kilometers north of Firuzabad. At the center of this city, there is a tall tower, a significant part of which still remains. Among other important buildings of this city, one can mention the "Throne Room" located in the central part of the city, which has many similarities to the gates of Persepolis and was probably an ancient fire temple built by the order of Ardashir.
