Near Arg Karim Khan, there is a mansion built by order of Karim Khan Zand during his reign in the city of Shiraz. This building, known as the Divankhaneh Qavam Maleki Mansion, was recognized during the Zand period as one of the political centers for handling political and governmental affairs. The Divankhaneh Mansion is a two-story building connected by two staircases. It consists of a veranda, two royal halls, a large pool, and a small pool in front of the royal hall. Important features of the Divankhaneh Mansion include exquisite decorations such as various stuccoes, muqarnas work, beautiful paintings with animal and plant motifs, etc. This beautiful house is made of brick and stone, and it is said that its marble stones were brought from Tabriz and Yazd to Shiraz and used in the construction. The Divankhaneh Mansion was registered in the national heritage list in 1975.
