Sam Cave is located near the summit of Khwaja Qanbar Mountain, in the Namij area, Nam Nik village, a part of Galikesh, and is situated at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level. In the local language, Sam means cavity and cave. This limestone cave, considered one of the attractions of Galikesh, was formed and expanded by water flow inside the limestone rocks and is known as the second deepest cave in the country. Inside the cave, remains of pottery from ancient times have been identified. Also, human skeletal remains have been observed in the initial corridors of the cave. Sam Cave has between 25 to 30 well rings, indicating the vastness of this system.
