Yakh Morad Cave is one of the tourist attractions in Chalus that most tourists like to visit; because this cave is one of the few layered caves in Iran.
The presence of icicles and ice stalactites in Yakh Morad Cave has made the inside view of the cave more beautiful than you can imagine. Also, there are pools and lakes inside the cave that are frozen and have ice icicles. Yakh Morad Cave has three large halls, three underground glaciers, seven wells, and several entrances. The exact length of this cave is not known; because some obstacles inside the cave prevent cavers from further exploration; but it has been determined that Yakh Morad Cave is between 70 to 230 million years old. To reach the cave entrance, you must walk about an hour on mountainous terrain; so be sure you have a professional guide, necessary equipment, and proper physical fitness.
