The Bandar-e Gaz lighthouse, dating back to the Qajar era, was built by the Russians and is located near the coast of this city. The purpose of constructing this tower-like structure was to guide and direct ships that came to the Gorgan Bay for export and import and anchored on the shores of Bandar-e Gaz. This monument, considered one of the tourist attractions of Bandar-e Gaz, was registered as one of Iran's national heritage sites on 2 August 2005, with registration number 12565.
