Ashtaran Castle is one of the rare and historical castles of this province, built during the Qajar era by Haj Morad Khan Ardalan. This castle covers one hectare and includes two residential floors and one basement floor. Each floor has 13 rooms. In the inner courtyard, there is a qanat that used to supply drinking water to the castle's residents. At the four corners of the castle, there are four round towers that made defending the castle easier during war. The castle walls are made of adobe and brick and feature decorative brickwork.
