Farkhi Castle is another historical monument of Kaleybar County in East Azerbaijan Province, located in the center of this city. This octagonal brick tower, approximately 8 meters high and 2.2 meters wide on each side, is recognized as one of the tourist attractions of this city and East Azerbaijan Province. According to an inscription installed in 1111 AH (equivalent to 1699 AD) by Mohammad Kazem bin Budagh Khalifeh Qasem, this tower was restored in that year. It is worth mentioning that some historians attribute the original construction of the castle to the era of Malik-Shah Seljuk. The main use of this tower was for watch and supervision over the city's entrance roads.
