Soltani Bidokht Shrine

The Soltani Bidokht Shrine is one of the famous sights of the city of Bidokht, located five kilometers west of Gonabad. The Soltani complex consists of several buildings, whose domed mausoleum, with white walls, a dome, and turquoise tile minarets, shines like a jewel in the city of Bidokht.

The beautiful city of Bidokht, due to the presence of the Soltani mausoleum, attracts followers of the Nematollahi Gonabadi order and dervishes who follow Majzoub Alishah for pilgrimage during various occasions every year. According to official announcements in 2005, Bidokht is one of the busiest and most visited cities in Razavi Khorasan province after Mashhad.
