Atigh Jameh Mosque of Shiraz

The Atigh Mosque, also known as the Jameh Mosque and Adineh Mosque, is one of these attractions that holds the title of the oldest mosque in Shiraz. This mosque is also considered the first religious nucleus of the city of Shiraz and was not only a religious place but also had social-political functions at times. Unlike other mosques in Shiraz, this mosque has a very simple appearance, with only blue tile work adorning some parts of it. This building is located next to the Shah Cheragh shrine, and one of its entrances is inside the shrine's courtyard.

National registration: The Atigh Mosque is a legacy from the Ilkhanid period and has been listed among Iran's national heritage since January 5, 1932, with registration number 72.
