Mofid Agha Mosque, belonging to the Qajar era, was built between 1310 and 1314 AH by order of Haj Sheikh Reza Tabatabaei. This mosque is located in Saray-e Gorji Lar and near the Qezelli (Khazineh) Mosque, and in 1382 it was added to the list of national heritage sites of Iran. Mofid Agha Mosque is known for its traditional architecture and special Qajar-era decorations, and its interior design and exterior facade display a symbol of the architectural style of that period. Mofid Agha Mosque, as an example of religious sites in Tabriz during the Qajar period, holds great value in preserving and introducing the religious history and culture of Tabriz.
