Description

The Nasir al-Mulk Mosque is one of the famous sights of Shiraz city, located in an old neighborhood called Goud-e Arabān. This masterpiece of Iranian-Islamic architecture captivates you at first sight; as soon as you reach its wooden door, your eyes fall on the tilework of red roses, Shiraz irises, and muqarnas, and in those first seconds, you fall in love with this mosque. What stands out in this building is the use of pink tiles, which has earned it the nickname the Pink Mosque.

After more than 150 years, this mosque is still used for worship by the people, and its unique beauty and appearance have led to its registration in the list of Iran's national heritage with number 369 since Bahman 1334 (February 1956).
