The Sepahan Fossil Area is one of the tourist attractions of Shahin Shahr in Isfahan Province and is registered in the list of national monuments of Iran. The Sepahan Fossil Area is the first natural national monument of Isfahan Province and is considered one of the tourist attractions of Shahin Shahr. This area, with fossils dating back 200 million years, is located in Kamshcheh, Isfahan, in Barkhar County and is full of invertebrate fossils including algae, sponges, poriferans, and corals. Also, the largest and most beautiful fossils of the Triassic geological period are found in this area.
