Ostad Sanati Museum
The Ostad Ali Akbar Sanati Museum is one of the lesser-known museums among Tehran's attractions, dating back a hundred years. Many know this museum as the Red Crescent Museum or the 13th of Aban Museum, but the official name of this museum is derived from the name of the great Iranian painter and sculptor who created countless unique works of art throughout his professional life.
The Tehran Sanati Museum has an unparalleled collection of artworks in the style of realism and houses nearly 6,000 paintings and more than a thousand sculptures of important Iranian figures and various social types.
