The Amol History Museum is a three-story building originally built for the Finance Department. In 2008, after the Finance Department moved to a new building, the building was restored by the Cultural Heritage Organization and converted into a museum.
Now this museum displays artifacts from the Qajar and Pahlavi eras. Coins from ancient periods such as Sassanid and Seleucid are present in the museum.
The number of artifacts in the museum is not large. Kilim and jajim, administrative letters from the Qajar government to local rulers, old weapons, and pottery are among the interesting items in the Amol History Museum.
