Golestan National Park

Golestan National Park, also known as Golestan Forest, is recognized as one of the tourist attractions of Turkmen Sahra. It is one of the protected areas in the eastern part of Golestan Province. Golestan National Park, the oldest registered national park in Iran, is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a biosphere reserve. 302 animal species and more than 1350 plant species make up the nature and wildlife of this pristine area.
