Moshir al-Molk Caravanserai or Barazjan Fortress

The Barazjan Fortress, also known as the Moshir al-Molk Caravanserai, is one of the tourist attractions of Barazjan and is located opposite the main city square with a sturdy building. The building dates back to the Qajar era and was built in 1871 by Haj Mirza Abolhassan Khan Moshir al-Molk Shirazi, a philanthropist of Shiraz at the time, at a cost equivalent to forty thousand tomans. The Barazjan Fortress has four towers and consists of 68 rooms. The architecture of this building was undertaken by Haj Mohammad Shirazi.
