Ashkourat Highlands

This pristine and beautiful destination of the province attracts many tourists every year with its unique nature and beautiful history. First of all, you should know that this city consists of four parts: Rudsar, Kelachay, Chaboksar, and Rahimabad, and it also has 10 rural districts and 401 villages. The highlands of Ashkourat are part of Rahimabad in Rudsar County. This highland, due to its springs, beautiful natural lakes, refreshing mineral water springs, clean and clear rivers, its infinitely large walnut and hazelnut orchards, and its unique caves, is a magical place and one of the wonders of this beautiful nature.

There is evidence that dates this area back 3,000 years. Another interesting point is that Rudsar County is known as the number one producer of hazelnuts in Iran, so most of the residents' jobs in this area are in hazelnut orchards.
